The San Ramon Chapel |
|---|
The San Ramon Preservation Committee is currently raising money to replace all of the windows and window frames in the chapel. Cost estimates to have six custom windows built and the costs associated with installing them into a 131 year old wooden structure could be as high as $25,000. While it has been sugested that we look for prefabricated window inserts to keep the cost down, it is our obligation to preserve the historical integrity of the chapel. To date we have been able to raise over $8,000 for this project. While we have a long way to go to reach our goal, we are very optimistic that we will be able to order the windows by the end of the summer. Click Here to view the current state of the windows and to see some of our fundraising activities. If you would like to help us reach our goal on this projet, please contact us at Windows@sanramonchapel.org. Memorialize a loved one, living or deceased, by donating a replacement window in their name. For the generous contribution of $2,500 or more, a memorial plaque will be permanently mounted under the available window of your choice. The plaque will read either "Funds for this window were donated in loving memory of ..." or "Funds for this window were donated by ..."
